This Privacy Policy explains how GymApp ("we", "our", "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Information We Collect

No personal accounts required

GymApp does not require registration, login, or any personal account. We do not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

All workout data you enter (schedules, sets, reps, weights, history) is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (SharedPreferences). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

GymApp displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. To deliver relevant ads, Google may collect certain data from your device, including:

• Advertising ID (a resettable anonymous identifier)
• IP address and approximate location
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
• App usage interactions related to ad display

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with their own privacy policies. You can review Google's privacy practices here: policies.google.com/privacy

You can opt out of interest-based advertising on your Android device at any time by going to Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.

3. Permissions Used

GymApp requests the following device permissions:

• Notifications – to send rest-timer alerts between workout sets
• Vibration – for haptic feedback on rest-timer alerts
• Wake Lock – to keep the screen active during an active workout session
• Schedule Exact Alarm – for accurate rest-timer countdown notifications

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data.

4. Local Data Storage

All app data (workout schedules you create, training history, preferences, language setting) is stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data. We have no access to this data at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service integrated in GymApp is Google AdMob (see Section 2). We do not integrate analytics platforms, crash reporters, social login, or any other third-party SDK that collects personal data.

6. Children's Privacy

GymApp is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of GymApp after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
